Spend 5 minutes with Carl Benjamin, our Director

We spoke to Carl for an insight into what plans he has for The Bugle Group 20 Limited and asked a couple of personal questions so you can get to know him a little better.  Here is what he had to say:

Tell us more about The Bugle Group 20 Limited

We are a social enterprise whose primary focus  is addressing social or environmental challenges rather than creating profit for owners or shareholders. We bring together the entrepreneurial skills of the private sector and the values of public service, whilst endorsing the four pillars which are people, environment, economic resources, and culture

Where do you want to see The Bugle Group 20 Limited in the next 5 years

An established company who has succeeded in making a difference to the local community.  To have been able to offer a helping hand, whether it is simply checking in and giving time to an elderly person, to hosting a major fund-raising event for a chosen charity.  A "Company" with a heart and a reputation appropriate to it's actions.  This requires the removal of barriers so that all individuals can follow a journey towards their dreams with confidence and dignity. It is about refusing to accept that people who live in poverty will always be poor.  It is about helping people so they can move forward on their path to be self-sufficient.  If we can achieve a small portion of this and organically grow the company we will have achieved something to be proud of
 

​What are the aims and aspirations of The Bugle Group 20 Limited

To make a difference and to ensure that the local community or a chosen charity benefits from everything we do.  This journey starts with the first step as we have to remember social development is about improving the well-being of every individual in society, so they can reach their full potential. The success of society is linked to the well-being of each and every one of us.

Building Ultimate Goals & Life-Changing Experiences (BUGLE).  Investing in people and providing the experience and support required so that the community will embrace our core values:  empathy, diversity, understanding, capability, awareness, trust, encouragement

What has The Bugle Group 20 Limited done so far

The actual company is a relatively new company, and whilst we have supported and sponsored local events, we have not "launched" as yet.  However, each member was hand-picked on their own merit for their individual achievements and for what they have each done for the community or a chosen charity.

What sets The Bugle Group 20 Limited aside from other organisations

Every task or project we undertake must have an element incorporated so that the community or a chosen charity benefit.  For example, we recently sponsored a local football charity event, and in doing so we presented an outstanding achievement award to a lady in recognition of her hard work and dedication to the community.  We sourced a sponsor for the "Bee Inspired Football Academy" and we raised funds and donations for MacMillan Cancer Support.

It’s rare and rewarding to have such a diverse group of people  all wanting to move forward and make a positive change.  We are not driven by an individual, decisions are made as a collective unit.
